Kalonzo to tour Mt. Kenya region, open party offices

Wiper Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka leads top party leaders in a two-day tour of My Kenya region starting Friday through to Saturday.

The trip will see Kalonzo and his entourage tour three counties of Nyandarua, Laikipia and Nyeri where he will address rallies and open party offices.

On Thursday Kalonzo hosted leaders for a lunch meeting at Beiruti Restaurant in Nairobi ahead of Mt.Kenya trip.

The leaders who attended the luncheon included two MPs from the regions Hon Wambugu Ngunjiri (Nyeri town) and Hon Cate Waruguru (Women Rep, Laikipia).

Wiper leaders who graced the lunch date included Deputy Leader Hon Farah Maalim, Chairman Amb.Chirau Ali Mwakwere, Hon Robert Mbui who is the Deputy Minority leader in the National Assembly, Hon Makali Mulu, Hon Charles Nguna, Hon  Musili Mawathe, Hon Thaddeus Nzambia, Secretary General Sen. Judy Sijeny and Vice Chair Hon Ann Kanyi.

• Kalonzo’s Mt Kenya tour tour comes in the heels of a similar successful trip to the Coast region where he addressed mammoth rallies, opened party offices and unveiled Wiper candidate for Msambweni parliamentary by-elections slated for December 15, 2020.
