Kalonzo’s son Kennedy Kalonzo who is also a member of East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) has landed a new job at the International Human Rights commission. Kennedy will be the coordinator of International Human Rights commission ( IHRC) permanent mission to the East African Community.
In the letter dated 10th June 2019 and signed by Amb. Dr. Joseph Rankin, Kennedy is tasked with taking measures to deepen and expand Mutual corporation for diplomatic ties with the EAC and EAC nations.
“Kennedy Musyoka Kalonzo has the executive approval to meet with the national Government in all East African Countries and the IHRC will appreciate spontaneous support from all the countries in this work.” Part of the letter reads.
Kaonzo’s son currently represents Kenya in the East Africa Legislative Assembly. He was nominated by the Wiper party to the position in June 2017 and later approved by both houses in December the same year.
Before joining the East Africa Legislative Assembly not much was known about him.
