Honda Kenya Limited Thursday visited Jonathan Glog School in a mentorship programme.
The exercise was led by Honda Kenya Limited chairman Dr Isaac Kalua who said mentorship was part of the company’s social capital responsibility.
“TODAY I did what I love most- mentorship!! We opened up our Honda Kenya facility to 130 Class 6 pupils of Jonathan Glog School”, he said.
The pupils, he said experienced first hand how Honda Water pumps and Motorcycles are assembled.
“These kids were awesome and their interest in the corporate sector is amazing”, said Dr Kalua.
He appreciated the pupils’ level of knowledge and interest to learn which he excellent!
Dr Kalua suggest to all Captains of various industries to open their institutions to young kids to learn “what we do as we help them to shape their careers”.
“Congratulations teachers and parents for bringing up such breathtaking young leaders. You are the best!!”, said Dr Kalua who is also the President of Green Africa Foundation which is leading in environmental conservation.
