Kenya’s High Commissioner in Uganda, HE Kiema Kilonzo today hosted Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi at the embassy office during his visit to that Country.
The two held talks on a variety of issues among them promoting integration processes between the six Member States of East African Community (EAC), that is Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan.
The integration exercise should be tailored at seeing Kenya’s 47 Counties play a pivotal role in political and economic integration.
“Earlier today I hosted Governor Amason Kingi who paid a courtesy call on Kenyan Mission in Kampala, Uganda. Some of the issues we discussed included and not limited to how Counties would benefit from other nations under the EAC for development”, said Ambassador Kilonzo.
Later in the day Ambassador Kilonzo registered for Huduma Namba and urged all Kenyans residing in Uganda to visit the Chancery for registration.
