Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni will be in Mombasa for a two-day state visit starting Wednesday.
Museveni and President Uhuru Kenyatta will hold bilateral talks and tour the Port of Mombasa.
Uhuru visited Uganda two weeks ago to discuss local and regional issues.
The Head of State had flown to Uganda after attending a leadership meeting in Rwanda.
Uganda and Rwanda have had differences with accusations of trade barriers on the common border.
Uhuru has often emphasized the importance of regional integration as Uganda and Rwanda are important trade partners for Kenya.
