Sports CS Amina Mohamed surprises Harambee Stars ahead of Madagascar clash

Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed has made a surprise visit in France before Harambee Stars pre-AFCON friendly match against Madagascar.

“I want to wish you well as you represent the country on this big stage. For as long as I am here, I want to assure you of my full support.

“Kenyans are fully behind you and we are looking forward to positive results,” said CS Mohamed.

Harambee Stars head coach Sébastien Migné on Friday, 7th named the squad to face Madagascar.

The squad list, as announced by Migné on FKF official website excluded Star striker Michael Olunga from the starting lineup while John Avire has been named to lead the line alongside former Genk man Ayub Timbe, Gor Mahia’s Francis Kahata and Eric Johanna.

Tottenham hotspur’s Victor Wanyama is also set to anchor the midfield alongside Dennis Odhiambo.

The match is set to kick off at 9 pm East African Time on Friday, June 7, 2019, at the Stade Robert-Robin, in Paris, France.
