Tuju in talks with Envoy Kilonzo in Kampala, Uganda

Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju on Friday held talks with Kenya’s High Commissioner in Uganda, H.E. Kiema Kilonzo.

They met at Kenya’s High Commission Offices in Kampala and their discussions centered on strengthening bilateral relations between Kenya and Uganda in areas of trade, politics as well as cultural ties.


“The JP’s official tour to Uganda is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations among the two states, which will result to economic growth of our Country”, said a dispatch from the High Commissioner’s office in Uganda.

Ambassador Kilonzo has played a  key in making sure that Kenya exists both socially, politically and economically in Uganda since he was appointed the country’s High Commissioner in 2018.

This has made him recognized among the Country’s envoys in different foreign missions abroad.

Tuju’s visit comes few months after Opposition Chief H.E Raila Odinga had paid a courtesy call to Ambassadore Kiema Kilonzo in his office where they shared differed issues to propagate unity of the country after the famous March 9, 2018 ‘handshake’ between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader.
